Hoyma festival on the Faroe Islands
I went to the Faroe Islands in October 2019 to experience Hoyma. It's a music festival that takes place in 20 homes in the town of Syðrugøta where ten musicians / bands perform to small groups of people in intimate settings. I hope to go back to make a longer form piece about this experience. This was originally posted on Visit Faroe Islands Instagram. Narrated by Greta Svbao Bech and Jógvan. Get An Inside Look At The Philly Skate Scene | GREETINGS FROM: PHILADELPHIA
Skating in Philadelphia is hard. Rugged terrain, uneven sidewalks, and every weather condition imaginable is hurled at skaters whose goal is to thrash the City of Brotherly Love. “The streets are rough. The spots are rough. There’s a lot you’ve got to battle,” says Kerry Getz, owner of iconic Philly skate shop, Nocturnal. But adversity breeds creativity and that’s the message “Greetings From Philadelphia” communicates loud and clear. The “Greetings From” series takes a deep dive into the skateboarding culture of some of the world’s most iconic cities. Not just the terrain—the gaps and the rails—but also the soul of the people that drive the scene, and the history that has shaped the lifestyle today. With episodes shot in Rio de Janeiro, Paris, Marseille and more, Greetings From Philadelphia’s is a 16-minute visual tour of one of the United States’ most historic cities. ► Subscribe to the Red Bull Skateboarding on YouTube: https://win.gs/RedBullSkateboarding Red Bull Skateboarding on Facebook: https://win.gs/RedBullSkateboardingFacebook Red Bull Skateboarding on Instagram: https://win.gs/RedBullSkateboardingInstagram Subscribe to the Red Bull Skateboarding on YouTube: https://win.gs/RedBullSkateboarding Get the FREE Red Bull TV apps for all your devices: http://onelink.to/yfbct7 Watch Red Bull TV: http://win.gs/WatchRBTV

Looking Into the Center of the Galaxy
Astrophysicist Rachel Smith is an observer of forming stars. From 20,000 light years away, Smith trawls the frontiers of our galaxy searching through the chemistry of where in the universe Earth-like planets could exist. “You have a puzzle with a million or a billion pieces, and we’ve got one piece,” explains Smith. “I’m interested in the chemistry of what’s going on from where we are to where the center of our galaxy is.” In episode five of The Most Unknown, Smith travels to Hawaii’s W.M. Keck Observatory with astrobiologist Luke McKay to explore the Milky Way using Keck’s powerful twin telescopes perched atop the Big Island’s dormant Mauna Kea volcano.
